Space Dock.

The base idea of my books is to show ways to make stuff with limited resources, and this is exactly what I had. Young people could look at big films and be scared at trying something like that, too complicated.

This is a way of making something with minimal. I found old plastic crates and broke them up to use as panels. The frame is wood with all the panels screwed to it.

I have been collecting old electrical stuff for a long time and used lots of this and old kit parts and other plastic parts to just stick on the sides of the panels.

Once built, it was into the paint shop for a dirty wash and then ready for the studio to photograph.
